Letter for Justin Bieber

Dear Justin,

It has been almost five years since I have been a fan of your music. It has been five years since I have been supporting you, and it has been five years since I have loved you, more than an artist- as a human being.

Through the years, I have watched you struggle to achieve your dreams. I watched you go from station to radio station, with your guitar, performing. I watched you do small gigs, then they began to get bigger and then I was still there when you released album after album. You went on tours, you visited new places, you saw new people, new cultures, met your fans. I am sure many of us have great memories to share about you and your music.

I don't have words to really express how much you have influenced me as a person. I have been through a pretty dominating phase of depression in the past three years. While many people don't like to talk about such personal issues so openly, I wanted to share mine with you, in hopes that you will read this and get to know how amazing you are and that you should NEVER EVER doubt yourself.

There have been times in our lives, when we have all doubted ourselves. For me, it went from doubting myself to being uncomfortable in my own skin to down right self- hate. This led to a strong wave of self destruction. My doctors and psychiatrist would only tell me one thing : I needed will power, some sort of motivation to keep going. Unless I tried myself, I would never be able to get over my misery and see the world in a positive light.

Earlier this year, I came to know how you had gone through depression yourself, And despite the fact that our circumstances are so different. I couldn't help respect you more for being so honest. I saw myself in your eyes. The sadness, the constant raging conflict and recklessness in your eyes beckoned to me, At that time, I was afraid for myself. Why? Because that is when I realized how truly alone I was.

You, on the other hand, had so many people to look after you, care for you, and worry about you. So many people love you. And would do anything for you, I knew then, you would be just fine. I was assured by the amount of love and adoration I saw around me for you and your music. Over the years, we have become like a global family. You work so hard to bring us good music, and we work just as hard to make sure you're number 1!

When your single came out earlier , I was truly ecstatic and after a long time felt happy. Because your music is my favorite music, no questions. I find solace and escape from my problems and issues by listening to your voice. It may seem silly to many people, but everyone has their own way of dealing with the things that trouble them. My way happens to be through you. And for that I am eternally grateful. So thank you. Thank you for existing. Thank you Scooter for discovering what an amazing talent you are and thank you again Justin, for doing what you do. Because it makes me happy. It may not make a difference to you, but to me.. it does. It gets me through those nights when I'm a hairsbreadth away from snapping. Dramatic? I would say take a walk in my shoes.

Lastly, before I end this sappy monologue (I am damn sure this will never reach you) I would like to say, I will probably never get to see you perform live, or meet you but I want you to know that I love you & I respect you all that much more. And I will support you. May God bless you and bestow his blessing upon you.

Lots of Love,
Rose (@jbiebxrose) xx

Back with a Bang : What Do You Mean?

Bieber has returned! And as always, his creative promotion techniques have exceeded our expectations! From recruiting some of the most famous celebrities to date every day for a month for daily promos, to revealing the lyrics through DMs via twitter, sent to 49 lucky beliebers- Justin has been definitely building up the hype.

What's better is the new single itself. Released this morning (28th August,2015) What Do You Mean shot up to #1 on US iTunes and also became the fastest song to reach #1 in 57 other countries! Yes, you heard it right. The song itself features a rhythmic ticking clock, with a cool tropic beat and muted piano arrangements. And Bieber himself showcases some exceptional vocals. For those who liked "Where Are U Now", this one will definitely be to your liking!

The lyrics in themselves seem to be quiet the mystery. “Well, girls are often just flip-floppy,” Justin explained the track to On Air with Ryan Seacrest in July. “They say something and they mean something else. So what do you mean? I don’t really know, that’s why I’m asking.”

Well as far as we know, we really mean it when we say, we are loving this track!

After receiving such a positive response from fans, Justin took to his official twitter to thank his fans, expressing his gratitude for the support.

On a happier note (if there is room for more happiness still-) Justin's fourth studio album is confirmed to be releasing on the 13th of November! This year is getting to a more excited end than we initially predicted. Well, goes without saying, this break has definitely done him good. And now he's ready to face the world in a new light. First up will be the VMA's where Justin will be performing What Do You Mean among The Weekend, Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly & many more!

The video for his project with Skrillex and Diplo, “Where Are U Now?” has four nominations — Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, Best Editing and Song Of The Summer. Now we gotta wait till Sunday to let it all sink in, cause let's face it. It still seems surreal!

So that was all about Justin's new single, tell us what you think about it!

Sayings That Changed Me

Hello my dear readers, today I feel like sharing some great quotes that have left ever-lasting impressions on my heart.

Words: man's best friend and worst enemy. Mere words can turn a coward into a lion, a butterfly into a snake. These words, portray thoughts, intentions, emotions and help us find our way through this world. There have been many a great people in history who have used words to turn defeat into victories, See? All by spewing a choice few words- good or bad.

Similarly, I have come across many beautiful quotes that have helped me in times of need. Words of courage, happiness, even sadness. It is a great feeling when you can relate to someone, The rush you get when you know you're not alone in this world is very refreshing, Thus, here are some beautiful quotes for you guys! Happy reading :

"Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically, but nothing consistently without courage."Maya Angelou

This is a great saying in itself. Courage may be a fancy notion but it sure takes a lot to show. In this world of competitions, prejudice, rivalries, greed and what not one cannot function properly without courage. The most important ingredient in the recipe of success!

- John Green

It is fascinating how a human mind works. It has the ability to change realities, rationalize, argue, snub but the most precious of all is its ability to imagine. To go far beyond the realms of gravity and reality and conjure a world of our own. Our thoughts, are our beacons of hope.

"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." - H. P. Lovecraft

All of us have fears. While on principle, it just means we have an active conscience and a thoughtful mindset, it also comes with many drawbacks. Fear is of different kinds but the most fierce and gut-wrenching of all- is the fear of the unknown.

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
  Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”  ― William W. Purkey

I'm sure many of you would have already come across this one.  Often, we're held back from doing what we want to do, or being what we want to be, or living the life we desire because we keep thinking of what others would say. This quote taught me to be myself. I may be crap at what I do, but if I'm willing and if I'm confident, I can be better, the best. I can live the way I want to and be happy, Isn't that our number one priority? Happiness.

- Tyler Kent White

Everyone is beautiful, what lacks is our approach, our vision. Once we set aside the weighing stereotyping, prejudices and negative thoughts, we will be able to see just how beautiful the world is. We will be able to experience it, live it, be it. So my dear readers, be positive, think positive and you'll feel happy, more confident and beautiful. Start appreciating and stop hating. The world is too beautiful to waste your time on negative things!

“We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” —Albus Dumbledore

We see discrimination everywhere, race, religion, color, language, views. Yet when it really comes down to it, we all are humans. Instead of fighting and trying to get the upper hand, we should come together as one and help eradicate evil and encourage a peaceful way of life.

My Dramione Collection

Is there anyone else out there who has hopelessly fallen in love with the idea of the Gryffindor Princess falling for the Slytherin Prince? Me too. In my opinion, Hermione's wits, brains and know-it-all attitude best compliments Draco's stuck up, haughty bad boy persona. I still wish JKR had introduced this plot twist, Harry Potter would've been ten times more exciting than it is - if that's even possible. Over the years, I have come across hundreds and thousands of fanfictions, all ranging from Marriage Laws to Veelas. Be it Draco changing sides in an alternate universe to canon following post-war fics, there are just so many to choose from!

My Top 5 KDrama Recommendations

Like so many people all around the world, I was also one to fall victim to the charm and wonders of the KDrama world. From their awesome acting skills to their story plots, their wardrobes to cars. Each time I came across a potentially addictive drama, I got more and more thrilled. And then I decided, why don't I share my favorite shows with you guys! I'm hoping anyone whose new to this world whose so willingly stumbled onto my blog will watch these shows and possibly fall in love with the characters too like I have.

So here is my list of my favorite KDramas, The order doesn't matter. Feel free to watch any of them at any time.

1.  Boys Over Flowers (2009)

Cast :

Ku Hye-sun as Geum Jan-di

Lee Min-ho as Gu Jun-pyo

Kim Hyun-joong as Yoon Ji-hoo

Kim Bum as So Yi-jung

Kim Joon as Song Woo-bin

Kim So-eun as Ga Eul

Story Review :

It's an engaging story about a poor girl, Geum Jan Di who manages to attract the attention of the haughty prince group at her new school, called the F4. Rich, handsome, and arrogant, Gu Jun Pyo (Lee Min-ho), Yoon Ji Hoo (Kim Hyun-joong), So Yi Jung (Kim Bum), and Song Woo Bin (Kim Joon) are the kings of the school and no one, not even the teachers, dare challenge them. As the drama progresses you get to see how Gu Jun Pyo and Geum Jan Di unravel the realities of elite community and fall in love. I love this show very very much. This was the first KDrama I watched and I totally recommend it!

2. Playful Kiss (2010)

Cast :

 Jung So-min as Oh Ha-ni

Kim Hyun-joong as Baek Seung-jo

Lee Tae-sung as Bong Joon-gu

Lee Si-young as Yoon Hae-ra

Story Review :

Oh Ha-Ni is a clumsy high school student who has had a crush on the school's popular genius Baek Seung Jo who despises girls like her. Fate intervenes and Ha Ni finds her self at Seung Jo's door step and from then on fun and disasters ensue. This is one of my personal favorite shows. It's just something about Seung Jo's cold persona and Ha Ni's air-headedness . If you liked Kim Hyun Joong in Boys Over Flowers (given that you've already watched it) you'll like this one even better!

3. The Heirs (2013)

Cast :

Park Shin-hye as Cha Eun-sang

Lee Min-ho as Kim Tan

Kim Woo-bin as Choi Young-do

Story Review :

The series follows a group of rich, privileged, and elite high school students as they are groomed to take over their families' business empires. These wealthy students seem to have everything under control, except their love lives. This story is rather intense, with a lot of melodrama that always had me on edge. Plus the amount of eye-candy! Kim Woo Bin as Choi Young-Do is just amazing. The cast is amazing and the general plot is fine, a little predictable to me though, but that's okay I think. You should watch it if you like high school romances!

4. Pinocchio (2014)

Cast :

Lee Jong-suk as Choi Dal-po/Ki Ha-myung

Park Shin-hye as Choi In-ha

Kim Young-kwang

Lee Yu-bi as Yoon Yoo-rae

Story Review :

A sweet, feel-good coming-of-age romantic comedy from the writer-director team behind the drama I Hear Your Voice, this series centers around young adults getting their first jobs as broadcast news reporters. Park Shin-hye stars as the heroine with fictional "Pinocchio syndrome," where she can't tell a lie without hiccupping, and Lee Jong-seok co-stars as her fake adopted uncle. It's not as weird as it sounds. They grow up together and face the challenges of investigative journalism as rivals for different stations, forging friendships and finding love along the way. The chemistry between Jong Suk and Shin Hye is amazing. I would totally recommend this one!

5. Doctor Stranger (2014)

Cast :

Lee Jong-suk as Park Hoon

Jin Se-yeon as Song Jae-hee / Han Seung-hee

Park Hae-jin as Han Jae-joon / Lee Sung-hoon

Kang So-ra as Oh Soo-hyun

Story Review :

For all those medical geeks out there! This is one hell of a show. As a child, Park Hoon (Lee Jong-suk) and his father Park Cheol (Kim Sang-joong) were tricked and sent to North Korea. In North Korea, Park Hoon was trained to become a doctor by his father who was already a famous doctor. Park Hoon became a genius thoracic surgeon. He deeply fell in love with Song Jae-hee (Jin Se-yeon) in his high school. Somehow on their way back to South Korea, they get separated. In South Korea, Park Hoon begins to work as doctor in a top hospital Myungwoo University Hospital. Meanwhile, he found a girl that looks exactly like Jae-hee, Doctor Han Seung-hee, who claimed to not know Park Hoon. The drama has it all, anticipation, thrill, rommance, complications. Every surgery had me on the qui vive. Totally recommend it.

So there, that's my first post! Hope you guys like it. I'll update another one some times soon so stay tuned!
